Golf carts, LSVs & street-legal driving near Banyan Cay
In many West Palm Beach communities, a golf cart is a genuine second vehicle. Florida law draws a line between a standard golf cart and a Low-Speed Vehicle (LSV): a golf cart is generally limited to designated roads and community paths, while an LSV is registered, insured, and titled for legal use on public roads posted at 35 mph or less.
To be street legal, an LSV must be equipped with headlights, brake lights, turn signals, a windshield, mirrors, seat belts, and a VIN, and the driver needs a valid license. Clean Golf Carts can outfit your cart with the lights and safety equipment it needs and help you understand what applies on the roads around West Palm Beach. If you would rather not own, our street-legal rentals are ready to go.
Whatever you drive, the South Florida sun, salt air, and daily use are hard on a cart. Regular maintenance, a healthy battery, and the occasional detail go a long way toward keeping your cart dependable and looking its best year after year near Banyan Cay.

Keeping your cart road-ready in West Palm Beach
The same climate that makes West Palm Beach golf so good is tough on equipment. Heat and humidity drain batteries faster, salt air accelerates corrosion, and frequent use wears tires, brakes, and bushings. A little routine care goes a long way: keep batteries watered and charged (or upgrade to lithium), rinse off salt and sand, check tire pressure, and have brakes and steering inspected each season.
Clean Golf Carts handles all of it, from a quick tune-up to a full lithium battery upgrade or a fresh detail. We offer mobile service across West Palm Beach and Palm Beach County, so keeping your cart road-ready is as easy as a phone call to (754) 325-3264.
